“Black Moon Lilith” 12x11” Abstract Ink and Pencil Drawing
Black Moon Lilith is a pin-and-pencil abstract where I explore the space between celestial geometry and instinctual motion, letting sweeping arcs, razor-thin lines, and inky crescents orbit across the page, punctuated by dense black spheres and constellations of dots that suggest unseen forces at work; I use sharp contrasts between whisper-light graphite and saturated black ink to build tension and depth, while spirals and curved blades of line imply rotation, gravity, and quiet defiance, and named for the astrological point associated with the shadow self, autonomy, and raw feminine power, this piece is my meditation on where mystery meets control—where darkness isn’t empty, but charged—inviting the viewer to linger inside its orbit and discover new pathways and symbols with every glance.
